Engaged on Montgomery Street

Once or twice per year, I have the opportunity to work with someone from my past or that I have a close connection to. When Bryn & Justin got ahold of me, I quickly realized that not only did I know Bryn from high school, but have known Justin's father for a number of years as well. This made our first meeting more about catching up, rather than making sure I knew how to put batteries in my flash. As Justin's father is a seasoned photographer, Justin is naturally a seasoned subject! I know that most guys get pretty stressed out about an upcoming engagement session, as they're usually dragged there by their fiancé. However, Justin ended up being a willing and enthusiastic participant! Bryn & Justin both braved what looked like a cold dreary day in CNY for our session, and I am extremely pleased with the images that we captured throughout the duration of our session. In reality, that "dreary" day turned out to be the perfect day to show their love and excitement to get married this summer!
